The white or chartreuse indicator is easy to see in the dark area and the black indicator is easier to see in the high glare area. Phone lights do not work as well. We recommend rolling the glow-in-the dark strike indicator in your fingers or on the line for about 30 seconds while it is illuminated. How long you need to go between charges depends on how the indicator was charged, lighting conditions and your eyesight.
